Issues

Education is not accessible to everybody.  In Burkina-Faso only 26.6% of the total population can read on write. (2003 est.)
(cia world factbook)
In Addition due to the growing unemployment rate in Burkina many rural communities  already living in poverty don't want to spend  the little money they have to put their kids to school.

Our Work

Reciproka works with the parents, teachers, and local community leaders to find the best activity each individual child and family can do to generate an income that will lift the family from extreme poverty and therefore sustain itself and pay for the education.  Each year reciproka  chooses  5 students and families  from different villages to work with.

The Reciproka Language Center offers English, French, Portuguese classes, which represent the main language of West-Africa to participate to the facilitation of integration and reciprocity.
We are also offering Chinese classes as China is taking hold of the African market and Chinese is becoming a skill that many need.

The West African Sustainability Education Center (WASEC) is an initiative that we have lanced this year.
